Another Roon thread - do I need it?

AFAIK, it cannot support the format.

When I was using Plex seemed audio formats were quite restricted in any case. Video, too.

Never used Roon before, I know there is a free trail, but can't find the motivation to download, install and configure it.

I'm currently using Spotify and free version of Plex (replaced Foobar UPnP/DLNA). I am seeking the opinion of those who had the setup I had and then tried Roon: between Spotify and Plex, do I have most of the features and functionalities of Roon (I stream 90% of the time).

EDIT: I understand that Roon doesn't integrate with Spotify, I was referring to the Spotify curation and AU features.

Roon seems to be a scam. A subscription for something I run on my infrastructure? No thank you!
