It's another nail in the coffin of Anthropocentrism.
Whilst functionally I think your statement will turn out to be problematically true, from a purist point of view, all that Chat GPT does is spew out a cultivated rehashing of a massive input from humans, "stolen" (depending on your point of view) from millions of people (or more) all over the world via the Internet.
So this is in fact "pure" anthropocentrism, just clinically regurgitated by a computer.

The guitar player did an admirable job of mimicking Knopfler's style and that poppy, quacky sound from the Strat.

But the lyrics are infantile compared to what a wordsmith like Knopfler regularly writes.

Well, the text can probably be regarded as tainted with a lot of platitudes, clichés. Not so strange because the text is generated by some commonly occurring phrases and expressions that can occur in Knopfler texts. BUT it's just phrases and words. Then putting it together into sensible poetry with meaning. That's another thing. ChatGPT is not at that level...yet.
