And the TI EVM if you add the components as described in the PFFB application note.

Is the amplifier technology in Amir's reviewed model identical to the one discussed in this $1,500 model?
This uses XRK's RTR module. There are instructions on diyaudio for building your own. See:

There were some available in XRK's Etsy shop over the holidays, but they are out of stock now.

@3eaudio do you sell/ship these boards to the USA? All of the 3eaudio listings I see on Aliexpress either say they are out of stock or don't ship to my area.

The LSA discovery is using a good TPA3255 module by XRK + the Micro Audio psu. The 3E PFFB Audio measures really better than the XRK but it is a much more recent module. This is just to give you a fair point of comparison between a $1500 and a $400 amp. If you followed my Micro Audio project you will understand where I am going with this. Furthermore you have the complete measurements of the LSA amp on Stereophile.

Here the measurements of the XRK RTR amp distortion (%) vs 1kHz @8R and 4R. That is more or less the same as the Fosi ZA3 for example.....

Amazing - great to see what PFFB can do for the TPA3255 - will be interesting to see what Fosi Audio ( and Aiyima ) if they can engineer a similar solution for their next generation of class d amplifiers
I see Aiyima have lots of information posted and pre-sales for their A70 PFFB implementation now and they mentioned they have sent it to Amir https://www.audiosciencereview.com/...plifier-coming-soon.51188/page-3#post-1886325

Will be interesting to see if it can match the 3e in performance.

On the Facebook group they seem to be polling users as regards whether this should be in the SE ‘V’ range or the balanced ’Z’ ranged, most people seem to plump for the latter. Reading between the lines, and in a couple of replies I’ve had I would say it’s going to be Z range, with a volume knob but a preamp defeat switch - but hey, early days!

Can anyone tell me where can I buy this module?
I can't find it on Aliexpress(I think they don't restock it for months),
and I don't want to buy it from Audiophonics since I live in Japan.

3eaudio like many small electronics firms makes small batches. They have been active in diyaudio for some time and I have seen this trend. They make a run, sell it and make another. I would say, have a little patience while they mint the next batch. I think we are all going to like the upcoming upcoming new batch

that's how most small companies work, they make batches of products, often made by OEM builders that work for a lot of those companies. It's economics, as the volume is to small to build your own factory. It's also common in more specialised electronics (not only for hifi or audio). I had to wait for 4 months for a very specialised device, a dub preamp, to be delivered. I knew that before altough, as the shop warned me that it would take months (untill they got enough orders) to do a batch.

Is somebody using the testet 3E Module with some KEF R7 or R3 (META or NON-META) speakers?
If yes are there any problems with louder volumes and the minimum impedance of 3,2 Ohm of the R7 or R3s?

I plan to downgrade from some NC502MP based Amp (A300 from audiophonics) to an Amp with the testet 3E audio module (also A300 from audiophonics).
The downgrade is planned cause the NC502MP gets to warm for me on the place where it is placed in the rack.

My hopes are that the 3E audio module together with the SMPS gets a little colder when playing normal music or watching TV than the NC502MP module.

But the 3E audio module only has measurements for down to 4 Ohm and not down to 2 Ohm like the NC502MP module.
And I will not build two mono amps with the 3E audio modules.

Currently I have R3 Metas in a room up to 26qm.

Thanks in advance.

The Mono 3E 480-1-29A can drive 2R loads without any difficulty. Check ASR review.
But I suggest you to use a 48V/6A PSU per channel / module to be confortable.
