Yep. Harmanpro had them listed as shipping yesterday but now tomorrow? The prosumer sites still think June 10th.

I would love to see a torture test between the little 705p vs the Elac vs the Giva / Griya / whatever they're called.
Don't ask poor Thomas to torture the Giya's, he can't afford to buy any more replacement drivers for the dang things. :(

It's fairly comical that Harmanpro's estimates have been the least reliable and have shifted the most. It also makes me wonder who at JBL gave the prosumer retailers the June 10th date a month or so ago.

FWIW, JBL released the 7P owner's manual. With that it seems like they'll start shipping sooner rather than later.

Okay, finally we get some info on what the EQ settings are:

Sounds "okay", but I can do even more, including convolution, several different ways using playback software.

Thanks for the link. I've been through the manual. The network configuration section seems interesting.

The dealer I'm going through just updated me with the latest shipment date: June 16th.

They're on the way!!!

Border Crossing times:

I suppose that's just the time for the inspection...

What about the time to get to the gatekeeper?

Otay Crossing...

upload_2017-6-6_15-47-41.png

Ok, so follow that line to the end ...

upload_2017-6-6_15-55-43.png

Oh, now it goes south...

Not so bad, at least I can find the end of the line...

upload_2017-6-6_15-57-54.png

The line is about 2.5 miles long.

Say 4 wait lanes, 80ft trucks, 2.5 miles = about 660 trucks

Process time an hour, 660 trucks in line, 8 Customs/Immigration lanes open that day = 82 hours wait time? Fuh...

That wait time for the Otay commercial border crossing just has to be wrong.

But looking at the line of trucks, I wouldn't want to be trying to get to Utah.

My Salon2's got in yesterday but it'll probably be this weekend before I can pick them up. :(
