Ah you are correct this should connect between source and power amp. I might get the <100hz lpf to use from my A300 to a CVR802 sub poweramp that lacks any filters or equipment.

A300 has a low pass of <100hz for subout and a hpf I Believe if >100hz for mains

The Fosi Audio V3 doesn't have a sub-out and requires external power supply. Personally, I don't care about needing to buy a beefy power cable for the V3 but it def is added cost. Any information on Fosi V3 2.0 ? EDIT: im dumb i see you mean 2.0 as in 2 channel without the .1 subout lol, sorry

One thing that I will mention going from SMSL SA300 to A300 is the subout signal must be lower on the A300 because I definitely had to increase the gain on my sub to compensate for loss of output. I'm not sure if I'm able to get the sub to the same output level as the SA300 because I have to...

Thanks for this very much, unfortunately my sub amp uses XLR inputs, so I will have to use a RCA to XLR cable to input to my sub power amp. It says 20KΩ(Balance) , 10KΩ(Unbalance) , so I believe it would be 10k ohm since I will be using unbalanced input.
