AsciLab speakers are about to launch

Are there any updates on both the F5C and F6C? I'm curious about those in particular, as they're fairly affordable cardiods after all......

A new approach to point source?

The 8381A uses a coax too, doesn't it? Erin recently measured an MEH, it's by a dude called John White, or jw_sound on IG, I highly recommend you check it out. The data I've seen thus far looks real solid, I'm looking forward to seeing if Erin is going to share the full suite of data and his own...

Klipsch The Sevens - Review & Measurements by Erin

I believe the cleanliness is due to the speakers functionally having the entire wall as a baffle if it's placed really close to it(like, right up against a wall), so the direct sound and reflected sound from the wall right behind the speaker is essentially identical, and hence it weirdly sounds...

    ATC speakers / Monitors

I am not certain of the measurements of the ATC, but Neumanns are known for sounding a bit dark in the farfield compared to an "average" speaker due to the slightly narrow beamwidth/steep DI. If you're using them in the farfield, that could be a possible explanation for it.

    Omnidirectional Loudspeakers

The former 2 are fairly inactive, while the title of the latter kinda puts me off, although active, haha, I'm not here to claim that Omnis are the superior directivity pattern for a speaker to have. In the meantime, I'll keep this thread up, but thanks for sharing those other threads too

    Omnidirectional Loudspeakers

(This is currently a work in progress, especially with how it's formatted, since I would prefer to list out the brands by the approach taken by each to achieve said Omnidirectional pattern) MBL https://www.mbl.de/en German Physiks https://www.german-physiks.com/ Duevel...

    Omnidirectional Loudspeakers

I've been having a look at Omnis on and off for awhile, and I'd still say that they're a fairly fascinating look. Them being niche however, due to the difficulty in getting them to work their best in the typical home environment of an average user, plus the difficulty of getting such a speaker...

What budget speakers you like to see reviewed?

I also came across these https://nl.aliexpress.com/item/1005006156695668.html (Scaling is also 80dB)

What budget speakers you like to see reviewed?

Some measurements provided by them (unsure of conditions or methodology these were obtained with, and the scale is 80dB, so peaks and dips may be more severe than it may seem at first glance.

    Poor Man's Neumann KH120II

There's the new Topping MA4 if you're still looking for options. It looks real solid, and I believe Amir has a set, or is gonna receive one, to measure and review. I'd definitely have a look at these

    DIY Omni Dodecahedron Speaker

That's an interesting solution that I really didn't think of. Question is, I'd probably need the box inside to be fairly large to meet the Vas of most woofers, and in turn the sphere itself also has to be larger. Not sure how I'd frame it inside either, and if it would interfere with whatever...

    DIY Omni Dodecahedron Speaker

A bit of a dead thread now, but I've recently been exploring creating a similar solution again, and I'm now wondering if I should have an array of 1 inch full rangers on a sphere, with a separate woofer component in a box below. The smaller size of the drivers should reduce CTC and in turn...

AsciLab speakers are about to launch

Good idea, having the first impression be given with your cheaper solutions would give a good idea of how well you guys are able to compromise in terms of speaker design. Am looking forward to it (On a side note, I'd like to ask when data of the rest of the speakers are going to be released...

Klipsch The Sevens - Review & Measurements by Erin

I feel like Klipsch speakers are kinda slept on. They're not perfect, but they have some pretty dang clean directivity. The primary problems imo if that the crossover filters tend to not be that steep in comparison to the likes of Genelecs, and the overall beamwidth is also on the narrow side...

Klipsch The Sevens - Review & Measurements by Erin

Does anyone know why there isn't a text review nor is there any of Erin's data of these available on Spinorama?

    Swissonic A305

Yeah, could point at that too I guess. Definitely is a shame though, they look real solid, especially in the horizontal Directivity.

    Swissonic A305

Should've had them send over their entire line up for Amir to measure, would likely have given them the kind of boost they needed. Maybe they could send over a set that's been returned for one reason or another, fix it up, and get amir to measure it? Could be the kind of kickstart their products...

    Swissonic A305

Does anyone know what happened to the entire line up of Swissonic's speakers? Seems like they all got discontinued other than the X8 and T204. Is a shame, considering that the measurements shown here indicate that their line ups likely perform fairly decently.
