    JBL 705P Circuitry?

Just guessing, but given there's a PCM1795 DAC in there, I'd say it's analog going in to the power amp section. Pics here https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/jbl-705p-studio-monitor-review.11944/page-2

Speakers perceived as bright - room correction, or change speakers?

While you won't regret the UMIK, I have one myself, you can also do a lot with built in mics on iPhones/iPads/Android phones using apps like Speccy, Audiotools etc. It won't be accurate, but you can use them to correlate problem areas with what you are hearing and an EQ.

Dynaudio Emit 20 - Review & Measurements by Erin

The small Dynaudios seem to excel at being punchy for their size. I had a set of the much older budget model DM 2/6 that went surprisingly loud. They had almost the same Dynaudio house curve as in this review, with that upper treble lift. For me it was a bit much after a while, but most "normal"...

Personal experiences with small ~4" desktop speakers and subs?

The smallest iLoud MT sounded great to me, but only at low levels. The bottom end limits quite early and you can hear the ports when pushed at all. But I really liked their tuning.

Kali Audio IN-8v2 (Second Wave) 3-Way Studio Monitor Review

The response charts should give you all the info on how they might sound compared to other speakers, but your room will have such a big impact that it's impossible for anyone to guess how they might sound in your space. Given the off axis characteristics, you would likely have good success EQing...

Looking for a small Speaker (active or passive), woofer not bigger than 4 Inches preferably

I use just one as it is more useful in mono for me as this is the most common way people use them. The bass is exaggerated on them and it's a good way to check your bass isn't going to be out of control when it goes out onto this sort of device.

Looking for a small Speaker (active or passive), woofer not bigger than 4 Inches preferably

I've been referencing mixes on an Apple Homepod recently (the bigger one). It's great, will highlight if the bass is overdone and gives you a mono listening reference too.

    BASS!

It's definitely very present if the system can reproduce it. I always wondered if the CD master I have was an anomaly though, it really should have been high passed. Where did you take your sample from?

    BASS!

This Ani DiFranco track is a bit of an oddity for the bass thread. I remember my 4412As freaking out a bit with this when I first played it. Strong low end energy all the way down to 5Hz. (Points are set at 5, 10 and 20 Hz) Not sure if the Youtube audio goes that low...

Omitting a 1-2 3-4 source switch on the 4i4 headphone output is a real shame.

Monoprice Monolith Encore T5 speaker, listening impressions of a cheapskate

Pink noise from a Youtube clip is a good way to listen to this as you can hear the different frequencies becoming more or less prominent as you move around. An app like Speccy or a similar RTA app on your chosen platform can give you a visual indication of what you are hearing too.

    Computer Audio Having Hiccups

Sorry, bit confused. Perhaps by "splitter" you mean 3.5mm TRS to 2xRCA? Normally the term splitter means something else, like a TRS to 2xTRS etc where you want to feed two things from one source in a janky way. What you have sounds like a normal jack to rca cable. I'd try a new cable for sure.

    Computer Audio Having Hiccups

I'd definitely try it without the splitter and see if the problem goes away or changes. How is it all connected through the splitter?
