sorry, own RR2160...

How do the Outlaw 2200 or 2220 sound for 2 channel stereo music? I won the RR2160, same sound more power or different presentation?

I own the Outlaw and did have the Yamaha. I kept the Outlaw, Yamaha has nice built, but the sound is too boomy, the bass output is too artificial and overly exaggerated for me. Outlaw has great natural , neutral sound and power (and Subwoofer bass management if you need) , noting is exaggerated.

Questions: Is current an important measure on how an amplifier controls the base and lower frequencies. Is the current and peak currents measured in these testings? What are typical current numbers for class D amps vs class A or AB?

I own the RR2160, the sound is transparent, fast, neutral. Can be little harsh at vey very high volumes. Great value

What is the sound signature of the 2220? Transparent, warm, more like class D? I read that below 80watts it class AB, at 80 watts switched to G. not sure how that works.

How does it sound on desktop or nearfield? thanks
