I just made a thread about a good R2R DAC a few minutes ago, well, going the total oposite route... which would be the very best DAC using an AKM chip for less than '800,00USD$, please? Thank you very much, trully appreciate the help.

I must confess, I know R2R will always measure worst than Delta Sigma, but I'm intrigued and am really wanting to buy one such a DAC using said anachronistic technology... so, any recommendations, please? I was thinking about the Schiit Gungnir Multibit and the Schiit Bifrost, but opinions here...
