I have an old Sony 5 CD disk player (SCD-CE595). It has worked fine via it's analog outputs. I just took out my old receiver and replaced it (more or less) with a Topping D30 Pro. The Sony has a digital Toslink out so I bought a cable to connect it to the D30 Pro. It sounds fine BUT at least...
