I have an old Schiit Wyrd that I got used a few years back to fix my noisy USB issue on an older desktop. I could break that out again, but is the 500mA enough to power the D50? I would just use it to power the D50, no USB input to the Wyrd.

Can the display be dimmed/turned off?

I just feel like a $250 DAC should come with a wall wart at least.

Been following this forum for a while and have been waiting for this review. While this looks like something I could pair with my Burson Soloist, it's unfortunate that it doesn't come with a quality power supply. I'd prefer not to plug it into my noisy USB ports of my PC either.
