No sorry my bad. Dirac live only works on apple computer or windows as far as I know. The app on apple TV is prob just for controls and I would suspect the one star review to be because it's very not practical to control and set up dirac from a remote. Could have used Apple tv if your Denon...

Why not hooking a mac mini (or apple tv if you have an iphone) straight into one hdmi input of your AVR then ? You could enjoy Atmos music with apple music (it's pretty cool) have dirac live. Denon AVR are supposed to be pretty good even for hifi for what I have seen here.
