1) I prefer an external power supply keeping with upgradability and because i already have some external decent power supplys laying around...
2) A remote would be a good idea imo, not essential if you develop a nice preamp but it would sure be a nice thing.

Why not go with a wiim amp pro then? I don't think trigger in in a80 works with wiim products. That's what's stated in the pics in ayima's website at least.
Did I say that? I'm just answering to several posts stating crossover implementation is only possible through an app. btw you have several cheap amps with hpf/ crossover implementation from the likes of rsl, dayton audio or smsl so it shouldn't be that hard/ expensive.
I have a sabaj a30 pro and it has selectable crossover (hpf+lpf) without an app. It's expected that this will be the next incremental upgrade in these types of amps. It's just a matter of who will get to it first.

I think this is a god option/ solution for anyone with a passive subwoofer. I wish the high pass and low pass crossover points coincided. Also i'd rather have a coaxial in rather than hdmi arc, specially an outdated version of it. Still, it's something different and that has no much competition...
