You are correct of course. MP3 is a compression scheme and not a sampling rate, but it is lossy compression and never good.

I have used a DBX Driverack in a 2 way configuration. It would do what you want it to do. I replaced it with a DBX Venu360 which I will use to biamp my Tympani IVa\B&G RD75 hybrid. As soon as I get the Veno360 back from Amir. :)
