Would it be possible to convert the MK1 to a MK2 ? I know the MK2 has different output transistors
If you have to choose between
The 05 vs 07 mk1 ?
Also to take advantage of the MK2 and 05 amps, do I need a preamp with the same frequency response ?
Are the MK2 version of the amp, much better than the originals ?
The only difference in the spec is the frequency response
Frequency response: 1Hz to 50kHz MK1
Frequency response: 1Hz to 600kHz MK2
Should I be worry about the Frequency response ?
I just got a Soundcraftsmen MTX S860 amp, I did some research and someone tested the amp
Here are some numbers

I was able to get a rotel rb-991 for $100, but 1 channel is out, the amp is with my tech right now

Can anyone comment on the design of the RB-991 and if it is better than the 1070 ?
Full review with numbers...
I did some research on the P-2200, and that particular Yamaha amp is the base for the M-2.
Here is the professional review of the M-2

can someone review the lab report and check if the numbers are good ?
Maybe is the wrong topic, but I got a Yamaha P-2200 mint condition for $70. Working fine so far, a bit of hum when I set the input attenuators to 0db, is that normal ?
Can the P-2200 be used as home audio amp ?
Some pics of the inside
Here are the charts for the specs
I was too late, the guy sold the pair for $100, but he sold me a nice Yamaha cx-2 preamp for $100, not bad at all.
I was able to get a Kenwood MX-5000 for $60, not much info, it was the last stereo amp from Kenwood.
Any comment on the design and topology ? waiting to arrive...
I was offered a pair of MA700 Mono Amplifiers, I know they were designed for 5.1, thinking about using for a stereo set up.
There is not much info out there
