I can complete a setup with the onboard application and this mic. Moving the mic was to test my theory it was picking up any sound.
I think the idea to pursue a new mic and that this one is defective is the best next step.
My Denon 3700 works with the included mic and receiver app to complete a calibration and setup.
Bought the now $25 Audyssey Multeq app so I could turn off the BBC dip.
No matter what do I can’t turn my sub loud enough. I move to next step and the app says the room is too noisy. I’m then stuck...
Has anyone taken the test and if so how did you do?

Great topic. If photography is hard and at best we take pictures try film.
I stepped into the realm of analog photography a couple years ago. I always enjoyed taking pictures and thought I'd get back to it. Picked up a medium format Mamiya RX 67ii camera and have been having fun with it ever...
I have the Tacx Neo 2t to which I mount either my 35 year old Cannondale MTN bike or my Ti(no rust) road bike.
Add Zwift and its similar to Peloton and a lot less money.
Tacx also has an app for riding with great videos from all over the world.
I like the bike with trainer as everything I do...
They popped up on Amazon on 12/20. I used the Amazon notify me when back in stock feature. I ordered right away. They have been with USPS in various towns around Atlanta. Last update I had was on 1/6 that they were on their way to another facility. Hopefully I see them by Spring.
I’m not finding much on this “oddly” named device. Looking for a simple less expensive way to stream from my phone or iPad to my early aughts receiver.
Seems a reasonable DIY

I’m definitely going to play with room placement, the room isn’t optimally arranged.
The veneer took time and effort but wasn’t too difficult.
I first veneered the top and bottom. Then one piece wraps from one side across the front and to the other side. Rear I painted black.
Had to use veneer...
My kit of these arrives tomorrow. Also have the option 4 items on the way.
@Mudjock did your testing include using the shipping foam in the boxes for dampening?
Finished building my C Notes. I covered them with a cherry paper veneer with a tung oil finish. May wax or varnish over that or poly.
I covered the insides, side, back and top with cotton insulation. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004Y6SX1Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1...
