Just one pair, Focal Clear, with a TCA HPA-1 amp & Topping D30pro providing DAC functionality. Clarity with smoothness, at least for my ancient ears.:)

After agonizing about what headphone amp to pair with my X16, I decided on an HPA-1 Headphone Amplifier from Tom Christiansen Audio. I have a pair of Focal Clear headphones that are colorless, which is a match to the X16 + HPA-1.

For the last year, I've been more interested in a better listening experience and have a JDS Labs Element II with a Musical Fidelity V90 DAC & Audeze LCD-1's.
