Former computer hardware design engineer with experience designing multi-purpose and single purpose supercomputers, custom chips for terrestrial video receivers, fiber channel encryption appliances, custom ASIC foundry chip design. 15 years experience relevant to this group by designing professional audio hardware both analog circuitry and digital board-level, system level, FPGAs, and custom chip design. For some projects I literally aged behind an Audio Precision measurement analyzer for development and validation of my designs. That employer was among the very first companies (Digidesign, later acquired by Avid Technology) producing and selling digital audio software and hardware for professional audio engineers working in the digital domain. Lifelong audiophile and have my own home recording studio for enjoyment engaging in digital audio recording, mixing and mastering.
