thats just a poor 3D model. I doubt amazon gets accurate 3D data of the headphone. Who knows where they sourced that inaccurate 3D model. Maybe some 3D stock platform.
I have them. I love them for the comfort and the nice metal shell. But boy do they have a lot of treble. For my taste too much for 70% of the music I listen to. Treble is their most prominent feature.
So, I don't use them much (even with EQ.)
I have the HD800 about 12years now. Using them with EQ from the start (refined over the years)
Nothing could replace them for me and I've tried many things. The comfort and build also plays a big part.
So yeah I doubt a closed back could ever replace it but it might be a good complement.
whenever I cycle through my IEM collection with much much more expensive IEMs I'm angry at how good the zero:2 are.

thats really puzzeling. Obviously much effort went into the physical design. How on earth can they mess up the actual sound reproduction so much. Who signed this off? Unbelievable
