Just got this. The sub-bass roll off is dependent on how good of a seal you have with your ears, so this actually gets proper deep bass when correctly positioned!
True. The music may have been mastered to have left and right channel isolation, but playing it back in speakers or listening to a live performance will always have sound coming to both ears!
I see, thanks for the clarification. Being balanced isn’t a guarantee of zero crosstalk then. Somewhere in the circuitry there must be bleeding into the other channel going on.
Thanks for confirming this. My other balanced amps also have zero crosstalk, like my Topping A90D, Qudelix 5k, and Moondrop Dawn, so this makes me suspicious that the A20h isn’t fully balanced. Still a great buy for the relay volume control with remote, and the max output!
I still own this unit. It has plenty of power and a great noise floor, but there’s slight crosstalk even in balanced mode. @amirm does yours have crosstalk bleed as well?
I've managed to run my Sonos Fives in offline line-in mode, which gives zero latency in stereo. Here's how:
1. I first connected the optical line-out from my LG C2 OLED to an SMSL D-6 DAC, which is in PreAmp Mode Pr1 to allow volume changes via remote.
2. From the DAC, I then connected the ff...
I've ordered a pair of these, anyone know the best way to use them as 2-channel speakers for my LG OLED TV, while being stereo paired, and taking advantage of TruePlay, with lip synced audio? Thanks!
No worries, so it’s either a bad batch, its picky on usb-c sources, or it triggers on certain versions of songs (i tested the track on both Spotify lossy and Apple Music lossless)
Here is a recording of the artifact that Listener was pertaining to from the Headphones.com Discord, and happy to say I don't hear it in my Dusk DSP cable from several USB-C sources including an Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max, a Poco F3 Android Phone, and a Dell dock connected to a Dell Latitude...
Could the issue be related to the XMOS chip in the DAC? If so, there is a potential workaround here: https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/xmos-driver-settings-for-no-cutoff-delay.25838/
I'm getting my unit later today, and will test as well.
