I currently have an Arya Steath which I absolutely love however, I’m looking for a closed back dynamic driver to use when sharing an office with the Mrs. during the day.

With the Radiance being discontinued I’d need to buy second hand (not a big deal), however I’ve never had the chance to try either frankly.

I was hoping to get some opinions here if anyone was able to try one or both. From the research I’ve done, it seems like the Focals are more punchy and dynamic while the Bokeh is more relaxed sounding.

Hard to tell when I haven’t listened to either but would love your thoughts!

I've owned the Bokeh since last Summer. I really enjoy them, and chose them over the ZMF Caldera Closed, closed back offerings from DCA (including the new E3) and a few from Audeze. I struggle with all that I've heard from Focal, finding them too dry and bright for my tastes.

What I haven't tried yet is the new Fiio FT1. It has received excellent reviews and comes in at a fraction of the budget of everything mentioned above.

So I'd see if you can try the FT1 first, as you may fall in love with it and save yourself some money. Unless of course, you're particularly set on one of the two you've listed above. My vote would obviously go to the Bokeh, but it's all subjective really. You'd have to listen to both to find what you prefer.

Btw, the Bokeh is not the lightest headphone going, so that might be something to consider if you plan to wear it all day. It is very comfortable though, on my head at least.

Good luck.
