Should be interesting to see the reviews on this..

Looks pretty good with nice DSP features. Just wish it had type C input instead of the old B usb

Nice but I prefer IIS over the HDMI ARC

Edit: Also it is a DAC/AMP

johnny darko says its €1,000 rrp but aleady euro stores in stock for €900

for this money with dsp i cant see how this doesnt sweep the lot given its has industry standard level room correction

i dont even need to check if it does the LPF and HPF correctly... this should be a given since its eversolo

Looks decent... wish they wouldn't state silly things like this though;
The AK4499EX DAC chip is stabilized by OPA1612 op-amp regulation, ensuring an ultra-stable reference voltage that allows the sound to unfold like an endless ocean, with a deep, pitch-black background.

I am here :)

The X9 is priced at €1099.
Just to confirm—there’s no room correction or built-in music streaming in the unit. Besides the USB-B port, we’ve also added a USB-C input.

Anything else you’d like to know about the X9? Happy to share more!

Hey, welcome to ASR. Always good to have more industry representatives here. :)

You would be unaware, however please take a look at the below;

Thanks for the reminder.

I had a conversation with Amir a few days ago about sending the X9 to him for testing.
I will apply the manufacturer tag immediately.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused.

Why shouldn't they be allowed to say that? It's true.
It's not unknown among developers that AKM chips are very sensitive to the VREV voltage supply, and this can have a direct impact on the noise at the output. AKM also pointed this out.
Jan Didden has long since proven with his superregulator circuit that such voltage regulation controlled by a precise op amp can deliver excellent results.

I think @JSmith meant the 'ocean of sound' part...

Balance output for headphones is:
2x3000mW at 16Ohm
2x2000mW at 32Ohm
?

New products are entering the market with crossfeed and adjustable soundstage:

The X9 features advanced digital crossfeed for a natural, speaker-like sound, reducing fatigue during long sessions. Users can also adjust soundstage depth and width, with both features implemented digitally to ensure precise control without the distortion or coloration typical of analog solutions

Currently I don’t know if this is a hardware or software related feature.

More info probably after HIGH END München 2025

They say "digital" so that's software/firmware.

You can variably "blend" left & right easily with analog but creating an "immersive" sound is easier to do digitally... Once you have a DSP processor, just about everything is better and easier with software/firmware.

But looking quickly at that link they show regular-old electro-mechanical relays and they say R2R volume control so that's "interesting".
