My current one did not have read-outs for Carbon-monoxide (CO), Benzene (C6H6), Particulate Matter.
TMI: Anything under PM2.5 (12 μg/m*3) is supposed to be unregulated at the current time.

Neat, having a log burner that’s usually left open in my wee bungalow i should probably get something similar.

How accurate is it?, does it have accredited testing?

A 32" 4k monitor from Dell, IPS Black, which I ran my color profiler and got a stunning 0.01 delta E average color error, while still covering 97,4% sRGB colorspace.

Earlier this year, I picked up a Coway Airmega Mighty AP-1512HH air purifier. The biggest difference I've noticed is the sort of odors notices indoors, are simply gone. I'm not just talking about obvious stuff, like cooking odors, but also odors which seem to come from the building and furnishings: Paints, adhesives and the like. I regularly pop off the front panel and vacuum the dust screen, and sometimes there's quite a bit of lint.

Other random items: Minoltina and Konica film cameras aren't new to me, but I finally repaired a faulty light meter in the former, and expect to have the latter film-ready soon.

The new one --I just purchased-- is said to have an auto-calibration feature.
Aliexpress, being my go-to, cheap stuff (slave-labor) purchase destination, has so many similar offerings.
Thus, one needs to actually do some serious vetting, before pulling the trigger.
Gas stoves produce (byproducts) both CO, C6H6 and NO2; but you cannot find an air-quality meter which has nitrogen dioxide detectors at reasonable prices.
Happy hunting and use care in selecting the correct one for your application and needs. ;)

Having a look at your tuya model on aliexpress now, :)

Not sure why I'm such a sucker when it comes to all these Pink Floyd re-releases.

Here's the new 50th anniversary Wish You Were Here (in 5.1 and Atmos) alongside the same in "Experience Edition," which didn't even have multi-channel tracks. Not sure why I bought that one.

Edit: It gets worse. I just found the 'Immersion' release on the shelf as well, which does have the 5.1 mix on DVD audio.

Since I have that album on original CD, SACD (mc) and now the Atmos BD, I completely understand.
You want the finest sounding version you can get, and the blue-ray version is as future proof as you can get.
I have many SACDs and DVD-Audios and who knows how long compatible players will be manufactured? Even my Oppos won't last forever...

My new one should arrive w/i a week.
Don't pull the trigger just yet: Let me compare readings of the new versus old.
And *if you remind me and *if I remember; I can post my comparative readings (vis-a-vis but not absolute) here.

How would you calibrate those readings? Other than a zero point how would know if they were off?

Something for me and something for my cat.

I needed a shorter pair of XLR cables for my new Fosi V3 mono amps, and Jason needed a new scratching object.

I strongly think about buying this last 'cool thing'

I started this reply to ask you price and link...but you made me think...
Cheap and effective USB cable tester. Tested about 55 cables of various types and lengths and ended up recycling 35 due to redundancy or lack of data capability.
I am hoping that your photo will give me more impetus to just toss a few buckets full of USB cables, w/o losing any tears or testers but cutting my losses.

One of my biggest fears is to have to buy a USB cable because I tossed one thinking I would never need it.

I borrowed it from my local library :) But I wonder if he'll eventually regret some of his advice: In one instance, he talks about even getting rid of things that he really likes.
