If I got another electric it would be exactly this or one. Love the gl pickups. Love the GL bridge. And the pearl on black is just perfect. I had an s500 and it was so great.
Those are cool... I've had several over the yearsI bought a slingshot. lol. Classic old school wrist rocket. Just an impulse buy while walking through the hardware store but I think it'll be great for just sitting around the campsite target shooting at empty water bottles.

Yeah, I used rocks but they curve a lot when the velocity gets up there and steel balls are expensive.yeah I've kind of had the notion in mind that it might be a fun hobby to get into actually.
O very cool. I never thought of clay.I ordered a bag of clay ammo from Amazon. Biodegradable and fairly reasonable...
I have one too, the kind with the wrist support, very accurate. I use mine too shoot a fishing weight on a string over high branches on my trees to pull up my rope-chain saw to manually trim upper branches. Kind of cool as to getting at just the right branch or part on the branch around other branches is tricky. It took me awhile to master my shot.I bought a slingshot. lol. Practice, I got some stuff tangled. Force is as important as accuracy from my experience.say that's not a bad idea for running paracord to hang a tarp over the tent!
In the Windows side I've found pretty good value in gaming laptops. I'm not a gamer, but they have good screens, keyboards, touchpads and good performance. AMD has decent battery performance, but only about 65% of what Apple has. I've no experience with the recent Snapdragon ARM Windows machines. They look pretty enticing and have Mac like battery performance. Some small issues with some software not great with ARM Snapdragons, but that will improve. Don't know if it is a big deal or not. Might be worth your consideration. No idea where to put this but I'm laptop shopping.
Never gone Mac before but I must admit I am very impressed with how far Apple has upped the value proposition having fiddled with my S/Os new Macbook Air 15". I tried to provide her Windows alternatives but I drew a blank because the high-end ultraportables that could compete all clearly had lower performance and/or less battery life for more cost and at best equal haptics if not worse. Talking the Dell XPS, LG Gram, Microsoft Surface Laptop, Thinkpad Carbon X1, Razer Blade.
Apple's decision to go all-in on its silicon seems to be paying off. Forced me to reevaluate my 15-year-old beliefs of Macbooks being poor for the money borne out of the Intel Macbook Pros.

Otherwise if the MacOS isn't a turn off the Mac laptops are good. Mainly hate the low hard drive size and huge costs to bump up the RAM or hard drive sizes. You cannot swap them later so don't want to be short on those.
It's funny, I have a desktop PC, a laptop, and a mobile phone (S23). The laptop gets almost exactly zero use. On the rare occasions I've had one the laptop has always been an under-utilized tool.
Clearly I'm the outlier.
