W10 PC - SMSL SU8v2 - set of Mogami Multi XLR Y split cables going to SMSL SP200 and to JBL LSR305s that are on adjustable desk stands (tweeters very slightly above ear level, speakers toed in about 25º), RCA from SU8 to LDMK2 which I don't use. Just waiting for a good deal on the matching sub and will get that next. Main headphones HD660s / IEMs Moondrop Kanas Pro.

Little 8020s. Music comes from an ordinary notebook, through a red Dragonfly.

Recently I did manage to seriously improve sound quality at the listening position by placing tiny and ugly artificial pads ;)

The Philharmonics KILL the Celestions in low end, but the Celestions far out punch them in the midrange and high end.

The little Celestions are a classic. :)

Mixing is controlled from the PC Babyface with output from both computers to speakers and/or phones. Direct monitoring on the mic, and mic input is available to both computers, either raw or processed via Reaper DAW running on the PC.

The Digiface is, frankly, silly. It's pretty much only there to split one ADAT signal carrying speakers + mic into the components. Both PC interfaces could be replaced with a single one, and briefly I used a Fireface UCX instead, but it got too warm for comfort as I keep the interfaces hidden in a cabinet drawer with limited airflow. The Babyface and Digiface interfaces are low power and don't get warm. (Only RME interfaces because TotalMix is amazing.)

Did you do the mirror thing to find the reflection point? Did you see any difference in REW? I have something that I think is either desk or ceiling reflection but have not done anything to fix it.

Hej mtk, I was a bit of joking on that desk set-up and the pad. Being serious, in my [serious] listening environment I did that, for every bound, side wall, ceiling, floor and consider this abolutely necessary. But, and once you are employing near- or mid-field speaker of today's technology, you can almost ignore because of their directivity [wave guides etc.]. It still matters but not that much. Low frequencies are the most challenging issue you have to cope with.

This nice first picture is a little outdated. The Burson Conductor V2+ and the Calyx Femti were replaced by an RME ADI-2 DAC FS v2 and an Apollon NC502MP.

Speakers are Monitor Audio Platinum PL100 on the excellent IsoAcoustics Aperta 200. Focusrite Scarlett 6i6 2nd gen I measured here.

Scrap that, I downsized and now I am so glad to have desk space again!

Current setup is below: RME ADI-2 DAC fs => Neumann KH 80 DSP.

For my home office desktop, this is what I've been using for about 5 years now, Klipsch Pro Media 2.1 THX. Sub is on a shelf under the left side cabinet and speakers are either side of the 36" center level(seating position). Originally bought for gaming, but I love it for music, too. I'm still happy with it.
This is an update to my desktop setup:
*Still using the Klipsch ProMedia setup since it works well in my very small room, sub below on left. Need a bigger monitor and riser.
*JDS Labs Atom Amp
*JDS Labs Atom DAC
*Drop HD58X or HD6XX (or Sony MDR-V6 or AKG 275)
*Also have a Loxjie D30 at my living rm. stereo as we don't always agree on the volume level when we're reading or just listening.

Most of these are recent purchases because...ASR

The desk was made from 2 vanity sink stands with a drawer at the bottom, and 2 IKEA countertops, the middle section at an easier height to work from.

Updated to this:

PC under left cabinet
Sub under right cabinet
PC>Atom Dac>Atom HP Amp>SMSL A300 Amp
Sony SSCS5 Speakers, Jamo Sub

I think it would be entertaining to see what members have for their setup.

I thought of making a thread asking what I should get but I didn't think it would be as fun seeing what other members have and to generate ideas for my new desk setup in my small bedroom.

Soundartist SC8B, Loxjie A30, SMSL SU-8. I swap them with TV5s and LS50s from time to time. They do look ridiculous on the little desk, I know.

I started with pioneer bs22's and a Sony190, all used. I got KEF Q150's and the Sony promptly died. My search for the right amp went as follows:
Yamaha r-s202 (to big for a desktop)
NAD 3020v2 (awesome but could not handle the 150's and over heated)
Aiyima A07 (solid)
Sabaj A20a (goldilocks)

We pretty much match. Even the same Ikea desk, if not the same width. I'd probably kill myself if forced to use that keyboard, though. Now I just have to replace my Audient by something with hardware mixing and software volume control but still with controls on the top.

By the way, found any port noise with your 7350?View attachment 61469
Is it 8330a or 8320a?
