You couldn’t hear the difference - Proof! Beautiful video of David Mellor (Audio Masterclass) about sound differences between DAC

You are not in a position to question my feedbacks not conclusions. Moreover, I am always open to updating my knowledge based on good and useful insights. So, please state what you want to say to defend your position. You do not prove yourself right by claiming others are wrong.

If you are into or have been into the business of audio equipment I can simply say you need to refresh your style of speaking to prospects. I can help you if you are willing to listen. We can start a new discussion post on how to market and sell to audiophiles.
I'm questioning some of the conclusions you've drawn from your subjective experience, not the experiences themselves.

I'm not, nor have I ever been, in the audio business.

Someone is leaning heavily on ChatGPT/a.i. to build character

Your opinions and impressions do not really belong on ASR.

3. What is the mission of ASR?

In a nutshell, bringing more objective and provable data to the discussion of what makes the best audio equipment and playback environment. While other forums are free-form discussions where any direction goes, at ASR we are anchored by sound engineering and what research tells us."

So, if I understand your post, you mean that if you state that "earth is flat" or is narrating a "flat earther experience" , no one is in position to challenge it nor asking questions about it ?
Come on, this community is about science and facts. Not beliefs.
Belief / faith cannot be challenged nor demonstrated by definition.
Facts and sciences can.

Are you moderators in the ASR? Can you introduce yourself properly. Is Amir aware of what you are doing?

No one said that. It is your imagination.

Over and over the myth of blind testing. As long there is no true reference (and there will never be) to compare with it is just the opinion of a group of peoble with different hearing ability and taste. The outcome is just one speaker sounds to me better than the other. OK, but what does it mean for audiophiles who did not attend to the testing session?
What do sighted listening tests mean? The most important part of blind testing, to me, is when people can't tell the difference.

Hi. Not a horn -speaker-guy. My main speakers are B&W 802 D2. If it is about sound dispersion what I know and experience is that modern speakers has enough sound dispersion and hence no need for horns. I listened to some horn speakers and it seems interesting feeling sound projected directly to you I felt that breaking the sound stage. I use Chord Dave + Mscaler and I enjoy my setup as I feel sitting in a sphere where the orchestra is around me.

Questioning indicates doubt that the information presented is misleading or wrong. You can challenge the information and that is perfectly fine. While doing so, appropriate respect should always been present. I hope you agree with me.

You are now making a different assertion from the one I disagreed with.

To address this one, respect is earned, civility is preferred.

I agree trust is earned. Among my informative believes is that science is perhaps the only way for humanity to develop and progress. This was among the reasons I did my doctorate. I feel satisfaction following the scientific research principles while looking into matters including audio.

Myth of blind testing???
Myth of millions of voodoo phrases like: „Soundstage right from right speaker and left from left speaker“.
This could only be a phase problem. Bad speaker.

„Better than“….. Wrong!
Different!

Everything!
Getting knowledge by just reading instead of having to go through everything by his own.
We call that „Culture“.

This thread got off to a rough start. Numerous posts have been deleted due to unsummarized offsite content and some personal attacks. I get that it is easy to drop an example video link but is an imposition to force other members to watch it. Be considerate of others and briefly summarize or just quote from relevant parts. Do not like having to police video content but need to consistently enforce the rules.

Please keep future posts focused on facts. Thanks!
