Nope. The R-N402D has identical power amp and power supply to the A-S201 and possibly the R-S201 and R-S202D.
It's rather weak, their smallest one.

The R-N803 shares power supply and power amp with R-S700 and A-S700/701/801.
I am quite sure you are wrong, it's higher rated Sunken pairs on R-N402D (100 - 140 W @ 8 Ohm's).

This is what a R-N803D looks like:

@TheBatsEar I still won't call it weak, they have two weaker Sunken stages on newer ones like R-N602.

Do you mean Sanken transistors?

Didn't have the R-N602 yet, didn't feel like looking up schematics.

BTW, here are some collected pics of what amp has which transistors:

Pardon if offtopic but since transistor are mentioned and question doesnt deserve separate thread.
Here is R-N301 LINK
How can single pair per channel deliver 120/8 ohms and 160w/4 ohms ? Is it because special transistor (Can not see no. ) or being class B amplifier ?
thanks and regards.

@Hiten operating on relatively high voltage (±55V) as they always did. In higher tire they used two (AB) pairs to duble the dumping factor (to 256 from 128). Take a look at LJM L12, L15 boards as copies of this Yamaha AB stages (with spare parts) which have fair share of problems (not so quality part's).
