Yamaha R-N2000A network receiver

Woot js owned by Amazon, so they won’t steal your money. The customer service stories at Trustpilot do seem scary though.

That said, you can read both praise and criticism for something like Accessories4Less which has been around for a while too.

SafeAndSound has some customer return units which are close in price and they have excellent customer service.

Based on the dates of some reviews, it seems there was no or little improvement when Amazon bought Woot.

hi to all people new member from greece....Recently i moved to my new apartment so some new toys bought
One of them is the r-n2000a
Paired with a pair of focal aria 926 which go down to 2.9 Ω
This amp is a beast ,no problem at all to drive the arias to very loud levels
I also completed the set with a klipsch r120 subwoofer
The rest of it is a fiio s15 streamer/dac the yamaha 303 cd player and a project debut pro turntable
I am very pleased with the yamaha in all aspects, Build like a tank it shouts quality in everything , and sounds just gorgeous
I have it for 6 months now and everythting works ok
The only thing i dont like is that sometimes when i turn it on from standby mode and start playing if i open the musicast app i see that ypao is off instead of on
Also before the last firmware update i remember that if i left it on after a certain time like 1-2 hours it would go to stand by mode, and now thats not happening

Ahoi there! Always nice to get new stuff.

One of them is the r-n2000a
Providing inside pics would make the day of several people in this thread:

I know it's asking a lot, no worries if you can't do it.

Paired with a pair of focal aria 926 which go down to 2.9 Ω
I had the Chorus 836V, dipped to 2.9 ohms or so as well at around 120Hz. Stay classy and low impedance, Focal.

That is some very sweet kit you have there.

I just bought one of these and I paired it with Mofi Sourcepoint 888s and a KEF r400B sub.

Sounds great IMO.

It connects easily and immediately every time. I run Qobuz but I could do any number of other ways. It's extremely flexible and user friendly.

I have zero complaints so far.

Hi!

Are you using YPAO or not in R-N2000a ? Is it as bad as some posts may suggest? Does it improve over time after release?
Is it possible to copy YPAO settings into some manual slot and edit EQ to my own taste while keeping other correction parameters as-is?
How do you like “YPAO Volume” setting versus “Loudness” knob on front panel?
