They are 2 way bi amplified, so are they active or is the frequency split done with a passive crossover?

If it were still being sold, the Swissonic A308 may well have been the clear winner among them, thanks to its nice directivity control, ultra clean distortion, and resonance-free response.

Were the Swissonic A308 tested in detail somewhere? can't find anything

Just started using these HS8's & HS8S with my newly acquired Yamaha E-Drums; gotta say, they are quite formidable! Although I mostly play with headphones, playing with active monitors is way more satisfying and realistic!
