I mean this : 48V 5A 10A power adapter

It seems some claim different power adapters sounds better.

Considering either true Fosi power amp or the 2 mono blocks with Ultra streamer.

The 48v5a psu is enough for a mono amp.

I'm not sure you can use one 48v10a psu for two amps. Check this specifically for the amps you chose. Besides that y-splitting these connectors can be a gamble, depending on what parts you might get. Do not use random splitters designed for cameras etc. - they don't have the power rating for this case.

Personally I would just use the two 48v5a psu. A different psu won't sound different. And if you buy a quality amp you can expect a good psu with it. I know from 3e audio, which you def. should look at for the A7 stereo/mono amps, that they bundle the high quality GaN psu in 5 or 10a versions.

Ultra streamer pre arrives soon …

I well use the AS701 like a “slave power amp.” Should I use sub later. Wiim Pro Sub. As an alternative vs SVs .

Evoke 20 speakers we’ll be used at the moment.

RA1572 MK2 even if it is not a power amp in on device it can act like true power amp.

Considering this Rotel with the Ultra pre streamer.

Wiim has only has 1 sub output .

Would it be wise to either daisy chain 2 Svs subs ?

Y-splitter ?

DSP still work then ?

might be better if you focus on one aspect at a time.

The biggest limitation to me is mono sub only?

The Wiim sub is great as reinforcement of mid bass up to 200Hz , down below 40Hz requires DSP boosting.

But above 80 Hz you need two units, collocated, "stereo bass"

which gets trickier to integrate.

In my opinion you can y-split for two subwoofers if the room is symmetrical and the placement of the subs is too. F.e. left and right of a desk.

If the room is (very) different in shape or the placement requires different approaches, angles.. I don't know how good it can be. You can still align the delay with sub 1 and 2 and see what that suggests, if it's close/equal for both or off. Same thing with RoomFit. Clean symmetrie, can be good. Difficult room and various placements, it can't do it's job properly. Which doesn't keep you from doing RoomFit profiles with sub 1 and sub 2 independently and see where that gets you when you enable the second subwoofer.

I have to say that in my most difficult yet not so big workspace I disabled RoomFit later as I just require a little adjustment in the subwoofer range and that is handled by the EQ in the SVS sub. Whereas in my largest room, home theater and also difficult, I very much rely on it or things below 200Hz are a mess.

Bottom line: just try it out. If you find out you want/need more than one subwoofer and it doesn't work out, you can still add a solution to handle multiple subwoofers.
