Would you recommend the most basic WiiM Amp or should I look for a different amplifier?

I'm a newbie here. I just got a pair of Infinity Primus P362, and unfortunately the beloved Wiim Amp ultra is out of my budget. I own a Sherwood RX 4030R audio receiver that I was given for free.

My setup is 2.0 (which will turn into 2.1 in the near future), as my living room is small. I only want it for my turntable (comes with a preamp) but mainly for my TV (compatible with ARC HDMI) to play video games and watch movies.

Would the WiiM Amp be my best option quality and conveniency-wise? I wouldn't like to spend more than $300. I want to make the most out of my TV's HDMI ARC, but I don't even know if it would be worth it. Perhaps I'd be better off spending less money and just using the TV's optical connector.
What about some used Wiim Ultra + Fosi Audio V3 300W? Any ideas? Thank you all!

If you want HDMI ARC on a budget, AV receivers could be hard to beat.
Have a look at Denon's X1300 or something like this on eBay

I have a WiiM Amp and love it, but I haven’t tried it with HDMI.
