Would this simple setup be any good…?

Hi,

I’ve been thinking about a new simple setup.

Would either of these system work and/or sound great?

Streamer -> miniDSP/Dirac -> Cambridge Audio EXN100

Streamer -> miniDSP Flex/Dirac/Volume -> Benchmark AHB2


I also have a LAIV uDac mini that may or may not make it into this setup.

The electronics differences meh, your particular speakers, room and related would be far more important. Convenience/aesthetics of what you call streamer can vary.

I’ve just moved so figuring out which room this will go in. Current speakers in the home are Mission 700, Kef concerto and LS 50 meta. Streamer is typically a iPad (Qobuz) or wiim ultra.

How do you compare missions with kefs?

Don’t understand this one… the EXN100 is already a streamer and doesn’t have any amps

Streamer -> miniDSP Flex/Dirac/Volume -> Benchmark AHB2

Save money on the amp and spend more on speakers! WiiM amp Ultra would give you all in one package. No Dirac, but still room correction.
