I am currently using 10 inch subwoofer and need more boost on 100-200Hz because of room acoustic. Would 8 inch subwoofer better in this situation?

I just want small boost on 100-200Hz. I don't care much about the sub 100Hz bass. (if it is not too much).

This is the subwoofer response without filter (10 inch)

No, not really. And filters are along with crossover? Putting crossovers higher puts less pressure on mains but still 200 Hz is a bit high and definitely need two sub's one to each main and close to it and you would still need to additionally autended their output above 200 Hz ensuring they don't leak in mids (sub's able to play that high are understood). What are the speakers and how much did you play with placement to try to get it better that way?

Where I live now, my system is in my bedroom. My Sub is an old Dali SW-8. It's the smallest I've ever had.

To me, then, the purpose of deployment of this sub is pretty much dictated. But I have learned to love this thing despite its size. It is very sensitive to placement, to be sure. But it is the most articulating sub I've
ever worked with. I can visualize as well as hear the bassist playing.

Doubtless your room is larger than mine, but Dali makes bigger subs, too.

Best of all, it never has that vague but loud "bass sound," devoid of clarity, thumping but quite monotonous.
So as a mere kibitzer of audio, but with years of experience (doesn't mean I've learned much), I really encourage you to check out Dali.

Hopefully others here who know more than I will chime in.

Most small 8 or 10" subs don't provide a lot of response in the 100-200hz band. The subwoofer's main point is providing sub 100hz response in many systems. Maybe you just need better speakers for the upper bass response.
