Worst measuring loudspeaker?

It isn't bad according to the data on Stereophile.

Doesn't look very good to me, dispersion looks poor, some annoying peaking in the treble, would not last long in my home.

My own little diy bookshelf measured in room looks better than the B&W. I'd be embarassed if I put out a speaker that measures like the 802d and charged money for it.

It takes a severe attack of measurementitis to come out with nonsense such as this.:O)

Obviously final choice is purely subjective but it is I believe important to understand why you are enjoying that speaker, for no more reason than to perhaps narrow down future speaker choices.

I'm currently re-discovering a band from the 80s (mainly), the first albums from whom I first heard and enjoyed via Linn Isobariks, which have, can I say, a very 'characterful' frequency response even in active (aktiv) form. Hearing said albums on a more neutral system (if not actually, the opposite in the upper mids to the peaky 'Briks of old), I've had to re-adjust my perceptions of the mixes as I remember them.

Always better to have a speaker, that hopefully does as little as possible to the signal that it's trying to reproduce. Maybe the buyers of the terrible performing models shown here are elderly, have large rooms, are happy to point the boxes straight ahead and have hearing loss up top (mines lower in frequency than where these speakers usually 'take off' in the tweeters and right where these speakers dip-out far worse than the carefully curated 'slight recess' my old Harbeths have

Listening blindly, a lot of people would like some or all of the worst speakers ever made.That's why I'm very wary of brands that don't mention the speakers used, we have no point of reference.

This didn't make it any better:
Price: $66,350/pair fully active, $49,675/pair semi-active.

Powerd with a class D amplifier. I wonder if that appeals to potential buyers? They usually like damn expensive tube amps together with their horn speakers.
