I dont watch much soccer but yeah they went into a shell way too early i would think. Last few minutes yeah ok. But the best defense can be a good offenseI was rooting for England, but the way they stopped playing ball after scoring and pretty much stopped defending too, told me that they never deserved it. And when they were desperate at the end, their attacking play was abysmal.
OTOH the way Argentina did the same thing to England as they did to Egypt, shows they actually have something special as a team. Of the two teams playing today, they are the only one who can make the final interesting.
Spain have to be favourites to win, perhaps easily, but at what point does one dare to count Argentina out?
cheers
They just defended very poorly, that was blatant. But the best defense can be a good offense
Because both Kane and Bellingham are not defensive players. Yesterday they became defenders, all players were standing in front of goal keeper. That’s very negative footballThey just defended very poorly, that was blatant.
It was supposed to be 1-0 for England. It changed after England choose defensive playing.
They're football players though. That was just a very poor defense guys, sometimes it's not the strategy, it's the player's work and organisation which is responsible.Because both Kane and Bellingham are not defensive players.
I don't have to hear your pouting masses.
Pathetic.
You can't defend for 30 minutes against a team the calibre of Argentina - and more relevantly, one with Messi in it.It was supposed to be 1-0 for England. It changed after England choose defensive playing.
I actually liked Tuchel when he was at the PSG, he's not a bad coach, we never really know what's going on behind the curtains. He's definitely better than Deschamps the french coach who, despite the praises I always hear internationaly, sucks. Good to remind Deschamps is the coach with the best players in the world on paper.A day of shame in England. Teuchel can't possibly stay.
Both can be trueThey just defended very poorly, that was blatant.
Well, when you attack you leave big spaces, which is bad defense per se, but putting pressure on the other team keeps em busy. Both can be true
I quite agree with you regarding Thomas Tuchel. Overall, I think he is a very good coach. Which coach never makes any mistakes?I actually liked Tuchel when he was at the PSG, he's not a bad coach, we never really know what's going on behind the curtains. There's still a ''little final'' to play for both team.
Next year we'll probably have Zidane coaching the french team aka the dude who came in to coach Real Madrid 3 years, won 3 Champions Leagues in a row, and left like a f*cking king. The dude's aura is crazy.
For the english team, who knows really.
You're right. If Tuchel was France coach I'd be happier. However, I am rather skeptical about Zinedine Zidane. In my opinion, he should have managed somewhere other than Real Madrid.
