The infantile is not a particular fan of Norway anyway, by his own words. The brits taking this one home suits FIFA way better. Beckhams own stadium and all.
Didn't see the game and haven't really read the sports reporting beyond zipping through, so I have no idea about how justifiable the bashing is. The loosing team is always the one bashing refs and var anyway.
Saw the 1/16th with Switzerland, and it made me wish for a Trump magic snap tossing both teams out and handing it to Morocco. Haven't seen many games, but Switzerland were crap. If only someone could have told the Columbians that the point is to attack and score goals. Technically, the individual Colombian player was way way better than the Swiss. Doubt the Norwegians could have ridiculed the Columbians like they did Brazil in the "viral" clip.....

Regarding the ball possibly hitting the spidercam wire-situation in the Norway versus England match:
(1) If it did, by the rules, England's goal appearing just after the incident should be ruled out (ball drop should be done)
(2) FIFA said the sensor inside the ball did not 'observe' any movement supporting the claim of it not hitting the wire.
These two ((1) and (2)) are uncontroversial as far as I know.
A natural question is whether the sensor would observed the movement at all if the ball hit the spidercam wire as the wire is placed high above the ground.
This person says it would not, because the antennas are at ground level.

As I said after Swiss Colombia, when they made penalty shootouts I thought they were all gonna miss their penalties. Both had a deceiving level but Colombia was the better team. Swiss is gonna get chewed up, good for Messi stats.
Have you missed that the game between Argentina and Switzerland has already been played?

Hilarious lol. FFS I missed it I thought it would be played later WTF with the programmation seriously. I'm not too sad, it was gonna be the least interesting game anyway and I had a good night of sleep.Have you missed that the game between Argentina and Switzerland has already been played?

I’m not that impressed with Argentina, and I think England will win the game against them in the next round and reach the final.
France or Spain in the final?
Even though I think France have the best individual players of all the teams in the tournament, Spain is very strong as a team and will most likely dominate the ball possession, which makes them hard to get scoring opportunities against.
I say Spain against England in the final.

Well, I'd love to be proven wrong. Are there records available to the public? I'm thinking there probably aren't.
There is a lot of history for sure. Hope emotions are kept in check.

Not sure sensors in the ball would have picked that up, but vibration sensors for the wires probably would have. (One doesn't notice the movement in the bow, but the violin is still singing)..
Haven't seen the situation, have just noted the noise. BBC has an analysis of it, otherwise, it was by the looks of it noted by the players and others.
Anyway, the call for an end to the infantile era is stronger than it was before the championship. He made his bed, and now it's time for his nap.

The feeling of strenght France radiates is second to none, very strong players in every position on the field, the 3 forwards are litteraly the next ballon d'or podium, add to that Doué who is soon to be a superstar. The defense got Saliba and Upamecano, overly strong defenders. I wasn't that impressed by Spain performance Vs Belgium. Argentina is a hard to read team, they have moments of grace, but they didn't show clear dominance.
