Alright I saw that. I have controversial thoughts on this. But the rule wasn't followed.

What's crazy when you think about it is that we have a chip in the ball which can sense a players' couple of hairs and can't sense when the ball hits a cable. This game still needs big improvements.

Well, I was sort of hinting at one of the problems with this (maybe not here, but elsewhere) is that we now have this technology that doesn't seem transparent. It was the same with an offside situation a few games back where there was a lot of discussion about the sensor indicating a hit by one player, shown on screen on a graph, but not showing the hit right after by a different player. Rules aside the fact that not both hits were shown was a problem. Not because the second wasn't obvious, it was, but because if the first one wasn't a hit then the second indication could have been implied to have been on the first header that didn't happen. Therefore showing both, despite the second being irrelevant as far as rules go, would have been more transparent.

So the conspiracy theorist in me thinks that this guarded technology just makes it more possible to "tilt" games by selectively applying the technology available.
