You should say Spain will beat Belgium in the quarter final first.
If Spain meets France, it will be the first team France will meet with the capacity to keep the ball away from them. I expect a different France system. (From 4-2-4 to 4-3-3). Spain conceeded zero goals, and that's certainly the most important stat for a team in a tournament.

Frankly that's a bumer Courtois was replaced with this rookie goalie, the second goal was really avoidable, I was betting on extra time.
Spain will also have the ball Vs France, but it's gonna be a tougher cookie.
As I said before, if there's a team to beat France, it's Spain.

I think you can't know for sure the outcome of a match between the 1st and the 2nd of FiFA rankings. From experience, these games play out on minor details.

After seeing them play, I don't really see Switzerland beat Argentina, they should've lost Vs Colombia.
I'd love to see Norway beat both Brazil and Argentina. In the Norwegian minds it'd be like winning the world cup

I like the way you think.

I have revised my hopes to: Argentina beats Switzerland, but then Norway beats England and then beats Argentina. That would be them winning the WC in my mind as well. Having beaten Brazil, England and Argentina would be amazeballs. I'd be ok with France winning at that point, even though I'd root for the sous-chien.

The hand of God was just out and out cheating so what can you do

Mainly stop complaining (not you specifically), because his second goal was one of the all time great goals and easily cancels out a tiny 'touch' of payback for all the rampant cheating by defenders his whole career, kicking, chopping, elbowing … he could barely walk with all the 'cheating' knee, ankle, foot damage, yet he could still pull off that second goal masterclass. You know what: if that first goal had been pulled back, I would've bet on him scoring yet another goal if needed. What a player.
