If that was their strategy, I'd argue Ancelotti was outsmarted. Given true quotes by the Norwegian coach who stated: Wanted to keep the ball and have the Brazlilians running, it didn't work properly, so he took 2 players off for the 2nd half which did the job. 2 assists from one of the replacements. Kind of looks like it worked, tired Brazilians and 2 goals at the very end..... He also made it very clear that the game could have flipped both ways, 1st half in particular.
I thought it was unbearably tedious. Spain's 6 game clean sheet record is pretty amazing.
