Work Headphones Recommendation

I work in a factory so my hands are occasionally covered in either soot or varnish/epoxy and would rather not bring my ie900s to that environment (tbf full aluminum housing, but not so sure I wanna touch them with ick hands). That said, I was considering wireless earbuds for the workplace. That way I only need to use gesture controls. I was considering bone conduction headphones for a little bit, but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of them on the market, and for the ones that are, the fidelity isn't great. Was looking into the B&W pi8, but I figured I would ask the community just in case there was something out there that I missed. Thanks in advance :)

I'd be looking at the inexpensive end of the market to avoid worries about damage. Luckily there are several that measure well.

On the wireless side, Moondrop Space Travel - frequency response close to target and reasonable ANC for ~£20. Battery life is only ~4hrs though. They haven't been reviewed here yet, but there are a few mentions if you search plus good 3rd party reviews. The 2nd generation apparently has longer battery life and more EQ options for a small price increase. For wired IEMs - Moondrop Chu II, Truthear Gate, 7Hz Salnotes Zero and some more in the review index.

Thanks for the recs! Yeah wired isn't gonna work on this one since im forced to use my phone on this one. Another thing I don't want is to get my M17 messed up.

If you want noise cancelling, I would look at the Soundcore Space One (HF) or Earfun Air Pro 4 (earbud). Both budget wirecutter picks. If you don't need noise cancelling, the Earfun Free 2s got the nod.

Actually you brought up a good point. Not sure full HF would stay on my head if im working. Buds just might be the safer bet.

I can happily recommend these, paired with a pair of Truthear IEM’s. Under 100 bucks, sounds awesome, long battery life, stays put all day. Have worn for 8 hours straight on a long train ride.
