what would be the advantage?

Just sometimes there could be small dc voltage present in audio signal chain,with this DC block,you can just block it.

Why is that necessary when both drivers should be high passed anyway? Even woofers benefit from high pass removing signal from below their operating range.

I bought the JAB 5 with ICP5 and cable set, I am quiete happy, but I started to use it in a bi-amp stereo.
I used first Miumi app, but after I write to ICP5 and power down the jab5, when I disconnect the ICP5 from JAB , it boots up with some totaly different settings and huge distortion.
I got so far, that when I start the JAB with th ICP connected it will load the correct settings after ~1-2sec.
But how can I write the settings to the JAB? Isn't there a mode for that in the Miumi windows app ?
ICP is in "remote" mode iic or spi don't make a difference.
Has anyone experience such behviour ? Also if I connect a potmeter, the app doesn't show the change, it only happens... which is strange because the app show different.

I don't use Miumax but I think you need to write the Data to the EEPROM.
In the Miumax app, after configuring the settings,
you need probably to click "Write" or "Download" and this saves the data directly to the EEPROM.
