wondom bru5 pc dsp configurable TPA 3255 "300w x 2" mini amplifier

Yes, it's all right. I save everything when I exit. But when I disconnect from 220 volts, the program settings are reset in the DSP.
If you understand that it is not "Save" configuration under "File"....but "Downloader" then "Save to Flash", there may be something wrong. I hope Wondom can help you on this. The amp is not supposed to work that way.

@GGroch Maybe I didn't understand the answer. question like this? If I unplug Bru5 from 223 volts from outlet. Should DSP changes be saved? Or not? When I turn off the amplifier from 230 V and when I turn it on again from 230 volts, the changes are not saved. and are discarded. although when I close the program on my laptop, I save all the changes. Something strange is happening to me with Bru5. It's like it's a completely different amp than yours. I have known the video clip for a long time. I will try again. As you wrote. Step by step. Maybe I didn't do that. Thank you

Yes, it should save your settings after you go to "Downloader" and "Save to Flash". It will save them forever, even if unplugged.

If I save as you wrote. Does this change remain when the computer is turned off? How long? to reset the amplifier settings. Do I need to turn on the computer and the program again?

thanks understood. It's a little hard for me to communicate. the translator slightly distorts the meaning of thought and phrase

@GGroch thanks a lot. solved one thing with your help. I didn't save it there before. I haven't saved to flash before. I saved to a file. solved one problem. It remains to find the cause of the crackling and noise. Now everything is saved. As you wrote to me. But the crackling and noise has not yet won.

@GGroch when i save dsp settings. I disconnect the cable from the laptop and the program. The settings are saved and the crackle and noise disappears. Does that mean the old laptop is to blame? Thanks to you, I figured out the amplifier.Everything worked out and everything became clear. thanks a lot.

@GGroch Good afternoon Tell me more. How to factory reset DSP? When you click on reset at the bottom of the program window, nothing happens. And unknowingly, I did not export the initial DSP settings to a file. Is there any algorithm for resetting to factory settings? And can you send your factory settings that you guessed to export? Unlike me. Thank you in advance. The translator distorts the phrases a little. Sorry.I mean: how to make the button at the bottom factory reset (where the key is drawn) work?

I think possible pressing the pairing button for 10-20 seconds resets everything also - as I accidentally lost my DSP settings when trying to get a new device to pair. But I think there is a reset inside the ACP app also at the Bottom of the screen

@Jeromeof I press the Factory Reset button at the bottom. Nothing happens to me. ??? Program for BRU5. ACP Workbench v.2.24.2. What is the pairing button? which should be held for 10-20 seconds? Where is it in the BRU5 amplifier? I don't understand here?Is this not the button that switches the bluetooth and the line?

Yes I think that button what switched Bluetooth and the line input can be a factory reset button.

Though I am not 100% sure it’s just I did manage to reset mine and that was what I thought I did differently

@Jeromeof Wondom suggested resetting to factory settings to do this: 1) sent me a factory settings file for the DSP chip. 2) Import this file and save it to the program 3) Load it into the BRU5 flash memory. After that, the DSP will take on a factory look. As for pressing the pairing button for 10-20 seconds, they did not confirm it.If you were sent a zip archive with the Workbench v.2.24.2 program for DSP (when buying an amplifier), then when you unpack the archive, there should be an ini file with the factory settings of this program. I checked. This is true. I just didn't know then.

OK - sounds like you have a proper way to do it now. It is strange as I moved the Bru5 to a different room and had to pair to a different bluetooth device in this different room and after pairing to this new bluetooth device - it had reset to defaults. It was actually perfect for me in this case as I wanted to create new filters anyway for the new room it is was in.

Wondom has just posted a very brief ACPWorkbench tutorial on their YouTube Channel:
It does cover how to save to flash. At the end they promise to release more ACPWorkbench videos soon.

At the moment, I think the Arylic ACPWorkbench video is the most complete. Be careful with that one as Arylic's version may not be identical to the Wondom.

I all,
I bought this bass shacker and Id like to connect them to a BRU5.
Some question:
-is the ampli compatible with these bass shacker?
-can i use the BRU5 software to apply a band pass filter (22-55hz)
-what Is the Power supply needed?
Mamy thanks

Hi, and Welcome:

From the U.S. eBay Listing, I understand these come as a stereo pair.

1. Yes, it should be a good match with a pair of Bodyshakers.
2. The ACPWorkbench Software should be fine to apply a band pass filter. Note that while the amp is stereo, the EQ software provides the same filtering to both speakers, so you will not be able to have a different filter setting for L/R channels. For your purpose, that should be fine.
3. The Bru5 accepts an 18-48v input. For your purpose I would probably look at 32-48v. The plug is compatible with Fosi/Aiyima power supplies, which I think are the same as the supplies for most TPA3255 home amplifiers. Choose a power supply for audio like Fosi/Aiyima to be sure it is plug/wattage/noise compatible.

2 Notes:
- The Bru5 defaults to the Bluetooth Input when powered on. You have to push the Bluetooth Pairing button on the front to switch to RCA/Line input. So, make sure it is located where you can get to that button.
- I have not seen a stress test on constant high power use of the Bru5. On paper it should be fine, and I see others use Wondom amps with Bodyshakers with good results. However, it is possible if you run it near full volume with the 48v supply for an extended period it could shut down from overheating.

+1 Note: I see Wondom just posted a brief YouTube advertisement for the Bru5.

Thanks for your reply.
So each time I'll switch on the amp, I Need to switch the source? Is there a workaround to avoid this?
Could you suggest a similar ampli with aux input?
