Hi.
I'm choosing new headphones that I want to use primarily for listening to TV movies in the evenings. I don't have specific preferences, I'm just interested in the best possible sound for the money.
I am looking for the following candidates:
Sony WH-CH520
Anker Soundcore Space Q45
JBL Tune 770NC
Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT2
Sennheiser ACCENTUM

As I have no experience with the headphones yet, I wonder if there will be enough of a difference between the Sony and other headphones to justify their sometimes triple price. Which of the above would you recommend? Alternatively, feel free to recommend others.
I would also like to know if anyone has experience with connecting two pairs of wireless headphones to a Samsung TV. They say that these televisions should support such a function.
Thank you

1More Sonoflow are excellent for the money... https://www.audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/1more-sonoflow-nc-headphone-review.42849/

I picked up a pair on Amazon UK for £60 for myself, then bought another pair from China (AliExpress) for around £31 for my son (replacing an old pair of Sony WH-CH510). After applying Amir's EQ to the Sonoflows, they compare favourably with my other headphones (Sennheiser HD 660 S, AKG K371, etc.). The Sonoflow come with a carry case which is a nice bonus.

My son had these, they where equal with my wife Bose 700, but cant beat Bose on comfort IMO!

Old thread, but just wanted to add, I now love my Sony WH-CH520s... If you want super cheap BT headphones, these are great.

While they are likely my worst sounding headphones, they're not bad, and I use them more than anything else.

My wife bought them for me and said "they aren't going to sound like what you're used to, but I hope they're useful" and she was so right. Perfect is the enemy of good, and because of their flawless bluetooth operation, cheapness, lightness & battery life, they're just super easy to use as a "daily driver". Unlike high-dollar headphones, I don't have to give any thought to the damage/theft/loss risk of throwing them in my bag for the commute etc. As a result, I've probably listened to more music in the last 6 months of having these than I did in previous 6 years without them.

These Sony headphones have been a game changer for me and they've reminded me to stop obsessing only about "quality" and focus a bit more on usability / usefulness. (It's got me thinking about more lifestyle audio products for around the house...)

how do you deal with sound desync/delay?

how do you deal with sound desync/delay?
I just don't. I mean, mostly I'm playing music not video. But when I do, the sync is acceptable. I've not measured it but it's probably not more than a frame late (audio delayed relative to picture, so the better way round of course) although on a phone screen it's not as easy to see.

I've only used them a handful of times on the TV and that didn't strike me as "annoyingly out of sync" either, although it almost certainly won't have been exact.

I don't know how it's not worse... Maybe that's just how modern BT is in conjuction with a modern display which has latency of its own? Like, it all just lands pretty close. I think they're 5.2 or 5.3?

I've got a "Sync-One2" sync checker box so I could test them. Maybe curiosity will get the better of me and I'll do that sometime this weekend...!

Tested the sync; audio is a hair later than I thought at 55-60ms when playing an h264 on my phone from local storage. Although, it's almost certainly going to be different on different codecs.

Playing the same file through the phone's internal speaker shows audio late by 20ms, so it's a whole frame later than that.

My tolerance for loose sync is pretty normal, for a human, with 30-40ms [audio late] usually being where I usually start to really notice it. And I guess I have "noticed" it, it's just not bugged me. I suppose it's because watching the occasional YouTube video, or whatever, on a train on headphones; I'm likely more forgiving than when watching a film or HETV on a big screen with proper speakers I guess.

Anyway, this got very long winded. Bottom line for me is it's OK for my usage. Maybe it would annoy me eventually if I watched more video.
