Wire for RCA switcher?

I'm going to make a little passive A/B input switcher for RCA inputs going into my headphone amplifier from a couple of sources. I already have some RCA connectors, a switch and ordered a project box. My question is, what gauge and type of wire is optimal to wire up RCA connectors or am I overthinking things and should just solder some run of the mill 20 awg stranded on there and call it a day?

Thanks

The TJ's potatoes result in a compressed soundstage and a reduction in downward dynamic range. That's fine if your ears aren't good enough to appreciate organic, non-GMO, and gluten-free potatoes.

Grab an old Cat5e cable and take out a few of the strands.
