Another sad story...sorry if I include few less than stellar 2018 Olympic moments; it's part of life, the lack of training in Olympic attitude from some.

And some additional information on the Russian pair curling team, regarding their Bronze medal's removal after the young man tested positive for a banned substance. There seems to be more than meets the standards ...

I knew that it wasn't over.

Imagine you are in her shoes ... click on the title below:

A night with no music: Alina Zagitova feels weight of Russia’s doping ban

It must be extremely painful to be an Olympic Gold winner from a corrupted country cheating, lying, governing under a hacking regime. ...Not the people below, not the normal citizens, but the people above, the corrupt leaders and officials.

Poor young athlete, she doesn't deserve that, she never asked for that, and yet her country leaders let her down, big big time.

And this, not so sweet:

http://www.thehockeynews.com/news/a...er-response-to-larocque-removing-silver-medal

"According to IIHF spokesman Adam Steiss, Larocque was informed that she was violating something called the governing body’s Championship Regulations, which state: “The silver medals are presented to the players and team officials by IIHF Council Members or representatives who place the medals around the necks of the players and team officials. The medals have to be worn by the players around the neck in respectful manner for the duration of the closing ceremony and the following post-game mixed zone and media conference procedures. Any infraction of that rule will be reported to the IIHF Disciplinary Board and could result in additional disciplinary sanctions under IIHF Bylaw 1001.”

So there you have it."

Did you hear about USA winning the Curling competition gold?

Of course I did; they were given the women's medals.
http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2018/...am-accidentally-given-womens-gold-medals.html

Canada is usually near or @ the top when it comes to Curling and Hockey, for both men and women, but this year it wasn't meant to be. ...The reason? Perhaps because they are the best @ training other countries?
