Hello.
I am currently using Topping DX1 DAC/Amp.
I only used these for my Headphones and never for Speakers(as I don't have one).
I don't use any equalizers or software, just basic Topping drivers.
In Windows audio panel, the device is recognized as Speakers:
I know that when Headphones are connected to motherboard's Sound Card or by USB, they usually appear in Windows as Headphones:
1. Is it possible to reconfigure DAC/Amp to be seen by Windows as Headphones?
2. Is having Headphones seen by Windows as Speakers change functionality for ex. in games where sound positioning is important? (Speakers - 2 channels in front of you, Headphones - 2 channels on both sides of you).
3. Or is there no difference and Stereo is Stereo, no matter if it's seen as Headphones or Speakers in Windows?
