A 10” paper cone, 500w sub for $8,750+? Um, no, thank you.
Paper cone? Wait a sec… Dayton’s best woofers use either aluminum or carbon fiber. This rip off is even worse than I thought.
So, as an OEM, take the PE prices and cut them in half for Wilson. The two elements of this near $9k sub that actually make the music most likely cost Wilson less than $300.
Sorry, but the fact that Wilson claims to have some proprietary substance they invented for their cabinets sounds like a huge pile of BS. It’s probably standard HDF.
There is nothing unique about this design. It’s a ported 10” subwoofer. This is as banal and uninspired as you can get.
For less than $800, a Rythmik L12 servo sub (got 4 of them) will kick this thing’s ass.

Also, let’s not give Michael Fremer a free pass. That A-hole twists himself into knots trying to give this a great review.
