you know I'm not 10-12 years old....It’s difficult not be touched, indeed deeply moved by a post like that.

'ASR actors'? I appreciate there is often a bit of a language barrier when interpreting your posts, but you seem to be implying and that the work done by @amirm , @VintageFlanker is of less value than that done by Onlyoneme or that they have less technical understanding/knowledge than Onlyoneme?yet they have always been..... have been the most exhaustive and precocious... (the protocols are of the same type as "vintage" for example...but with the addition of measurements to the scope (pico200mhz), or recently, this interesting game with the holo)
just that they do not put it in the forms of certain people and that you have to be a little "armed" to understand them (which is clearly not so much your case)...
in any case your remarks are really inappropriate...
(on the other hand with your behavior and personal aspects...I think in fact that he will not fully realize the effort on the ultra...)
but don't worry.. some ASR actors will be here soon on the reviews side to interest you ;-)
without lpf i hope...
(Faced at the problem of power supply, this LPF, to be "positive", I regret to add a lot of confusion for those who do not really see things in perspective.)
I have mine set to 2V and set max volume to 90%.Liking the ability to adjust the Vrm out, for a bedroom setup dropping it down (-1) hit the spot. With the new amp everything seemed odd, maybe overkill for what I'm using it for but the adjustment nailed it.

just that what he has produced so far was done with modest means (same kind as "vintage") with rigor and often the addition of original measures or approaches ( scoped num output or see comparisons under pkane delta or nid tests etc. )...'ASR actors'? Plus, the measurements put forward by Onlyoneme are by no means 'exhaustive', they are quite focussed on particular areas of interest to Onlyoneme. So a more comprehensive review, Inc headphone output measurements for example, would surely be welcome?
I think the respect you have for Onlyoneme is commendable, what is not is your disrespectful attitude towards the tireless work Amir (and others) have put forward on this site.just that what he has produced so far was done with modest means (same kind as "vintage") with rigor and often the addition of original measures or approaches ( scoped num output or see comparisons under pkane delta or nid tests etc. )...
with phono or headphones will be more delicate for him but above all I think he is fed up... on the other hand until now his measurements have never been taken at fault and always confirmed afterwards....that's all... and there it is not a good sign for the ultra (had already been the case for the pro plus in first batch and on the amp with a need for "discreet" recall... if you want to see an idolatry of the onlyoneme....your problem..not mine...
hihi
It doesn't seem to me that he sought to become an "internet actor", "influencer", etc. Besides, he hardly gives any opinions or conclusions... and that is often criticized... many want grades or rankings...
,-)
let's wait for other people's measurements...and forget all that ;-)
Yes, I know.I’ll write that down.
Actually, it’s nothing to do with any language barrier. At all.
you are completely wrong about what I would think of armim... on the other hand, not considering him as a market player or an influencer would amount to not considering what he does or the impact of what he does :-0I think the respect you have for Onlyoneme is commendable, what is not is your disrespectful attitude towards the tireless work Amir (and others) have put forward on this site.
Amir, as far as I can tell, has no wish to be an 'influencer' or whatever, he just puts in an immense amount of effort in his free time to help the audio community. I think you should have a little more respect in that case.
You are maybe confusing me with @Yorkshire Mouth ?you are completely wrong about what I would think of armim... on the other hand, not considering him as a market player or an influencer would amount to not considering what he does or the impact of what he does :-0

""Unfortunately, that agenda is so strong, whilst I’d never say his results were deliberately inaccurate, I just don’t feel I can 100% trust them."""
I am reacting mainly to this (especially since you seem to be particularly hurt in your pride) because for the moment, his observations to onlyoneme , over the last two years, have always been found to be relevant... that's a fact... so what is happening on the ultra side until proven otherwise is rather annoying... bring on the contradictory aspect..
;-)
yes for yorkshire mouth-steve woodhouse ;-)You are maybe confusing me with @Yorkshire Mouth ?
My pride is not hurt in any way, why would it be?
Well we are 2 different people, after all, so reply to his posts if that is who you are addressing.yes for yorkshire mouth-steve woodhouse ;-)
yes yes bad manipulation I should have done some...the beginning of the message for you..the second part for him... sorry...Well we are 2 different people, after all, so reply to his posts if that is who you are addressing.
Ok, so you start off by replying to Steve's post (saying he is patiently waiting for Amir's review) implying we have Onlyoneme's measurements, so there is no need. Then when it's pointed out Onlyoneme's measurements are not complete, or indeed an actual review, you explain why (it is time consuming, I get that).yes for yorkshire mouth-steve woodhouse ;-)
given what is observed by onlyoneme on the ultra...it's really a shame that other standard measurements, from other sources, are late...
I'm not criticizing, I'm even looking forward to them arriving...Ok, so you start off by replying to Steve's post (saying he is patiently waiting for Amir's review) implying we have Onlyoneme's measurements, so there is no need. So why even comment? You know why people want Amir/Vintageflanker to review/measure the Ultra, yet you still insist on criticising these reviews for being somehow 'dumbed down' simply because they are presented in a much more accessible way than Onlyoneme's measurements.
The sub output is restricted in so far as it is mono and outputs only signals below the crossover frequency chosen. It is affected by the volume control, unless you choose fixed volume in the audio settings.Question: the sub out, can I connect it to my pre amp without any issues or are there restrictions? I would like the volume control to remain there. I haven't bought the ultra yet.
I did ask you previously, but I'll try again.I'm not criticizing, I'm even looking forward to them arriving...
I'm just noting that the only available measures, from onelyoneme for the moment, for the ultra seem not to make people react or be understood... even if incomplete on certain points... what they point out is quite edifying...
end for me... you will see that with the reviews - measurements, future....I did ask you previously, but I'll try again.
Treat me as if I know nothing about audio playback (I don't know a lot, so it's not much of a stretch lol) and explain, in simple terms, what exactly are the issues with the Ultra.
I know you understand the measurements well, so it would be a big help if you could point out some of the bigger issues for the members here, who may not be members of the Wiim forum, or members of both who simply don't seem to grasp the severity of these issues.
