based on their repeated enquiries about that data point based on just looking at a manufacturer's specs statement.
Going to the professional / PA / live music gear category would remain my recommendation if they are looking to double or triple SPL outdoors.
Short of that, "try it and see" is almost always good advice, and the Fosi v3 mono lets you do that, with a lot of flexibility and without a large risk.
I looked up those loudspeakers, designed for outdoor use, and they allow for both stereo channels to be reproduced with just one unit, which would appear to offer even more flexibility.
Putting one unit every few meters all around the pool space perimeter would probably get "loud enough"
If an employer offered a 40% increase in income, VERY few people would consider that "insignificant".

Money and SPL really don't seem to be remotely analogous.
In open forums, it's hardly a surprise when others react to your comments regardless of to whom they were directed.
This won't yield any meaningful improvement, and risks making things worse.

Toslink won't suffer potential grounding or shielding issues. The jitter level is low enough to not be an issue. Otherwise, USB and coax both are also fine. All have shown to have negligible amounts of jitter/distortion.
Any digital connection will be as good as any other. As suggested above I'd favour Toslink for the complete elimination of ground connection.
in fact you can go analogue direct out of the Win ultra, and there will be no audible disadvantage compared with using the Gustard, unless you have a ground loop with audible noise which the balanced outputs from the Gustard are able to mitigate.
Are you connecting the Ultra to your network ?
Is the R26 connected to an amplifier or powered speakers?
Myself? I would sell everything but the Ultra nothing else is really needed unless you have some connection issues we're not aware of. The Gustards and Aune look to be extra stuff tossed in with no benefit.
I am thinking of using Ultra with smartphone. Yes, R26 will output to active speakers.
