Good morning, I have a Wiim Ultra and I'm about to buy the Senheiser HD660S2. Do you think I should also buy a headphone amplifier like the Fiio K13 to make the HD660S2 work best? I already have some Audiotechnica M50X that I use with the Wiim but I wanted to improve the sound quality.

If you're not using heavy EQ on the bass (that would warrant a large negative digital pre-amp), the Ultra's headphone out should be more than fine in regards to volume. What may hinder it is the output impedance, which is not near zero: if anything, it will boost the lows a little bit.

Even an output R of 50ohm (which is close to that of the WiiM) is no problem for the HD660S2 .
